The City of Marysville along with Linear 1 Technologies, File 13 at UCO Industries, and 2nd Chances Thrift Store Union County will hold an E-Recycling & Document Shredding Event on Saturday, April 22nd from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Police & Municipal Court Building, 1250 W. Fifth St. This FREE event is open to residents and non-residents.
All personal and confidential documents will be securely transported by File 13 and shredded at their facility. Personal document drop off ONLY (no business/commercial). Items accepted for e-recycling include computers, cameras, servers, VCRs, cell phones, keyboards, battery backup systems, scanners, printers, and fax machines. CRT/Tube style TVs and computer monitors will not be accepted.
New this year! Second Chances Thrift Store will accept up to 6 bags or boxes of items that are in "like new" or "giftable" condition from the list of acceptable items. Larger items and donations should be taken to the donation center at UCO Industries, 16900 Square Dr. Please call (937) 707-1171 for large furniture pick-ups. Acceptable items: Clothes, shoes, accessories, jewelry, small appliances, housewares, kitchen items, home decor, toys and games.
