Hit-and-run incident at 1502 Kenton St. on January 6

City of Springfield issued the following announcement on Jan. 26

Springfield Police are asking the public’s help in solving a hit-and-run incident at 1502 Kenton St. on Jan. 6 at approximately 9:20 p.m. Video captured footage of the suspect running the stop sign on Gable Street at Kenton Street while the victim traveled westbound on Kenton Street. The impact spun the victim's car until it faced north. The suspect vehicle is a newer looking white SUV, and it should have right front damage. 

A pre-crash still photo of the suspect vehicle is below, along with the video provided by the victim from their dash camera. If anyone has information on the vehicle or the driver, they can call Officer Wendy Kibler at 937-324-7717 and select option #2 from the automated voicemail menu, or call St. Curtis directly at 937-324-7719.
