How we prioritize snow clearing:
1. Emphasis is given to primary streets during snow plowing, which are major thoroughfares and streets with hills or curves. These streets are given top priority to ensure services such as police, ambulances, fire trucks and other emergency equipment can respond. 2. Secondary streets, which intersect major thoroughfares, are then plowed and salted once primary streets have received treatment.3. Dead-end streets and culs-de-sac are cleared last.
