Years of experience: 26 1/2 years
Why you love being a Chieftain: I’m a Chieftain graduate, my husband and two sons are Chieftain graduates, and my daughter will be a Chieftain graduate. I’m grateful for and appreciate the feeling of community that being a Chieftain has given both me and my family. Our schools and community offer wonderful opportunities, and I’m proud to be a part of that.
Classroom motto or quote to live by: I don't have a classroom motto, but I try to stress the importance of being honest. My personal words to live by is the Serenity Prayer: "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference."
What you love doing outside of school: I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, reading books, walking, and going to the beach each summer.
