The OCCAC is a basketball conference and it is returning a lot of talent. Both of the Eagles' teams are projected to be in the top five of the conference.

Both teams have 29 games on the schedule for the 2022-2023 year. The Men's team kicks things off Saturday, November 5 at Kent State Tuscarawas, starting at 3 p.m. While the Lady Eagles kick their season off on Wednesday, November 9 vs. Wittenberg University JV, at 6 p.m.

Men's Head Coach Anthony Clements brings back a pair of starting forwards, Albert Valderas and Dale Bush who led the team in many categories last year. The Eagles will have a stellar supporting cast that will push the Eagles into the top five of the conference. Coach Clements put an emphasis on recruiting guys that were 6'3 or taller. The Eagles look to get back to their winning ways that Coach Clements instilled in the program when he went 18-15 a few years ago, which knocked off the #15 team in the country. Coach Clements has some high expectations for his Eagles. He stated, "this is one of the most talented teams we have had here in my tenure. It should be fun to come to the gym each night to see how they do."

Lady Eagles' Head Coach Corey Steinke brings in a wealth of freshmen to help lone returning starter Haylee Gunter. With the influx of new players, Coach Steinke re-tooled his team and might have Clark State's best unit in some time. Coach made an emphasis on recruiting more aggressive players. Coach Steinke believes this team is the team to change the culture for Lady Eagles Basketball. There are some high expectations for the Lady Eagles. Their schedule will make those high expectations challenging, but Coach Steinke feels his girls are up to the challenge.
