Solid Waste District accepting canned good donations as part of America Recycles Day

The Clark County Solid Waste District and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign and Logan Counties are teaming up to increase recycling and reduce hunger in Clark County next month.

A television can be recycled free with a donation of canned good items on Thursday, Nov. 17 as part of the 25th anniversary celebration of Keep America Beautiful’s America Recycles Day.

The event will be held during Specialty Recycling hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 at the Clark County Recycling Center, 1620 W. Main Street. Limit one television per customer.
