NEW PROVIDER JOINS MEMORIAL FAMILY MEDICINE | RICHWOOD

Juliet French, MD, MPH, now seeing patients

Memorial Health has announced Juliet French, MD, MPH, is now treating patients at the Memorial Family Medicine | Richwood practice, where she joins fellow physician Pamela Kapraly, MD.

Dr. French is covering primary care and family medicine needs for patients of all ages. She places a high degree of importance on preventive care, including annual screenings, and likes to work with her patients to empower them to be active participants in understanding and maintaining their healthcare journey. She also has a passion for working with patients with hypertension/diabetes as well as depression/anxiety disorders, and specializes in obesity medicine and medical weight loss.

Prior to joining Memorial, Dr. French was Lead Physician at The Ohio State University Primary Care practice in Dublin, in addition to serving as Assistant Professor–Clinical. She completed her family medicine residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Dr. French received her Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Toledo and her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies/Psychology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

In addition, Dr. French recently earned her Master of Public Health from The Ohio State University Program for Experienced Professionals.

Dr. French and her husband, Jay Vallabh, MD, have three children, and together they enjoy traveling, camping, and spending time outdoors. Dr. French has shared her healthcare expertise internationally as well, with medical missions to Nicaragua, Honduras, Switzerland, South Africa, and Costa Rica.

As a new provider, Dr. French is replacing Dr. David Dunkin who retired in May. Dr. Dunkin joined the practice in 2017 and has been an active, long-time member of the community, with almost 24 years as Team Physician for the North Union High School Football team.
