The City of Marysville is hiring Part-time Firefighter/Paramedics. The Marysville Division of Fire is a full service (Fire & EMS) department. Positions are responsible for Firefighter/EMT duties, fire suppression, HazMat, rescue, training, and daily maintenance.

Applicants must:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • State of Ohio EMT-P certification, State of Ohio Firefighter Level II (240 hour card)
  • Proof of successful completion of the IAFC/IAFF CPAT or Firefighter Mile in the last 12 months (or able to obtain upon final offer- City of Marysville will pay for one CPAT process)
  • Valid Ohio driver's license
  • Associate Degree in EMS or Fire Science is preferred.
The City of Marysville tests through the National Testing Network, Inc. (NTN).  To schedule a test, visit NTN's website at http://www.nationaltestingnetwork.com  Under Find Jobs select Firefighter jobs and sign up for the City of Marysville Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic.  Upon completion of the NTN testing, candidate scores are forwarded to the City of Marysville and an interview list is generated.  Candidates on the interview list will be asked to complete an application and submit to the City before a formal interview.
