State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) has announced the launch of a new round of opioid settlement grant funding by the OneOhio Recovery Foundation. The initiative will make up to $45.7 million available for prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts related to substance use disorders across Ohio.
Organizations addressing substance use disorders are encouraged to prepare applications during the Funding Inquiry window, which began on January 14, 2026. The full Request for Proposals is accessible through the OneOhio Grant Headquarters at OneOhioFoundation.com/Grants.
“I’m delighted to share this opportunity for help and support via the OneOhio Recovery Foundation grant funding program,” said Richardson. “These funds have the potential to make a difference for those struggling with mental health issues, drug addiction and much more and I highly encourage eligible organizations to apply.”
The current round follows an earlier cycle that distributed over $45 million to more than 240 local projects in Ohio. Those previous grants supported youth prevention initiatives, school-based mental health programs, recovery housing, expansion of treatment options, post-overdose outreach efforts, and workforce development in behavioral health.
To assist applicants in navigating the process, the Foundation will hold several webinars. Event details will be posted on their website.
Key dates for Regional Grant Cycle 2 include:
– January 14, 2026: Opening of Funding Inquiry window
– February 11, 2026: Closing of Funding Inquiry window
