On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Madison-Plains High School standout Evan Coil’s current collegiate team the Ashland Eagles lost 24-56 against the Ferris State Bulldogs in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The game took place at Top Taggart Field at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Ferris State Bulldogs in the tournament.
