State Representative Tracy Richardson, Chair of the House Veterans and Military Development Committee, visited NASA’s Glenn Research Center with fellow committee members. The visit underscored Ohio’s support for the aerospace industry.
Richardson commented on the purpose of these visits: “I’m honored to chair this dedicated and committed group of leaders and initiated this tour as part of a series of statewide visits to key installations. The goal is to provide members of the Ohio House Veterans and Military Development Committee the opportunity to listen, to learn and to support our Military, Veterans and Defense economy. It’s about awareness.”
The visit follows the Ohio House’s passage of House Resolution 60, which supports relocating NASA Headquarters to Cleveland. This resolution highlights Ohio’s readiness to assist NASA’s future endeavors.
Richardson stated: “Supporting the relocation of the NASA headquarters to Cleveland isn’t just a symbolic gesture – it’s a strategic move rooted in history and foundation. We have the people, talent, and tools needed to help NASA achieve their goals. Touring NASA Glenn today made that even more clear. Their hospitality reflects our shared commitment to building greater opportunities.”
Mike Dovilla added: “As the proud home of NASA’s Glenn Research Center, Northeast Ohio continues to lead in aerospace innovation. Glenn’s work not only advances national research but also drives economic growth and high-skilled jobs across our region.”
The visit highlighted Ohio’s commitment to military and space development, technological advancement, and honoring contributions in science.
